Lin Zheng

Lin is a young composer, guzheng performer, and member of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society. Music has been part of her life since she started learning the guzheng at the age of five. She acquired her Masters degree in composition at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, one of the top music conservatories in China. Lin’s composition works and performances have gained various professional awards within China.

In February 2016, Lin founded Zheng’s Music Studio. She enjoys playing and teaching the guzheng, and focuses on students’ solid basic skills and understanding of traditional music. Her delicate teaching techniques have gained the unanimous praise of both students and parents.

郑琳

青年作曲家、古筝演奏家，中国民族管弦乐学会会员。自幼习筝，在中国顶尖音乐学院之一的星海音乐学院获得作曲硕士研究生，音乐一直是她生活中最为重要的一部分。指导老师：中国著名作曲家房晓敏教授，著名古筝演奏家、教育家陈安华教授，赵曼琴教授等。来到新西兰后，怀揣着对弘扬中国传统文化艺术的热忱，2016年2月，郑琳创办了新西兰筝乐工作室。她注重培养学生扎实的基本功和对传统音乐的理解，着重钻研多样化的古筝教学方法，获得了学生和家长的一致好评。

Boya Guzheng

The Boya Guzheng was established in 2020, and is composed of teacher Lin Zheng and several outstanding students from Zheng’s Music Studio. Boya Guzheng will continue to develop team spirit, build a guzheng music performance group based on traditional music, aim for innovative musical expression, and bring "new" guzheng music to a wider audience.

博雅筝团

博雅筝团成立于2020年，成员由新西兰筝乐工作室郑琳老师和优秀学员们组成，首次亮相于“五洲同心、世界一家——爱乐之声”全球24小时云端音乐会。筝团致力于演奏工作室出品的原创筝乐，用心表达广“博”大爱，坚持传播筝乐”雅“趣。博雅筝团将不断开拓团队精神，打造一个以传统音乐为立足点，以创新的音乐表达为目标的筝乐演奏团队，将”新“筝乐带给更多的听众。
