St Cuthbert’s College Mid-Autumn Festival Gala 筝乐工作室参演St Cuthbert's College中秋联欢晚会

On the 12th of September 2025, Boya Guzheng performed at the Mid-Autumn Festival Gala at St Cuthbert’s College, presenting the opening performance for this annual flagship school event. The gala was jointly organised by the school’s Asian Friendship Group and Chinese Cultural Group students. The programme featured a rich variety of performances alongside a wide selection of festive foods, offering the audience a celebration of both the arts and culinary traditions.

As the opening act, Boya Guzheng presented Yao Ethnic Dance, a collaborative performance for guzheng and percussion. The piece, driven by strong rhythms and dance-like energy, vividly expresses the vitality and spirit of Yao ethnic music. The delicate tones of the guzheng intertwined with the power of percussion, creating a dynamic and engaging stage atmosphere. The ensemble performed with excellent coordination, producing a bright, layered sound that earned enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.

Notably, all performing members were current or prospective students of St Cuthbert’s College. Despite their demanding academic schedules, they remained committed to rehearsals, demonstrating both professionalism and passion. Their performance reflected the younger generation’s dedication to and appreciation of traditional arts.

2025年9月12日，新西兰筝乐工作室旗下的 博雅筝团 参加 St Cuthbert’s College 中秋节联欢晚会，为这一年一度的校园品牌活动献上开场演出。本次晚会由学校的亚洲友谊团体与中国文化团体学生共同策划，节目内容丰富多彩，既有多元文化的舞台表演，也有琳琅满目的节日美食，为观众们带来一场艺术与味觉的双重盛宴。

作为晚会的开场节目，博雅筝团呈献了古筝与打击乐合奏《瑶族舞曲》。作品以强烈的节奏与舞蹈般的律动展现出瑶族音乐的热情与生命力。古筝的细腻与打击乐的力量交织，激荡出充满张力的舞台氛围。乐团成员配合默契，音色明亮而富有层次，赢得了全场观众的热烈掌声与欢呼。

值得一提的是，参演团员均为 St Cuthbert’s College 预备和在校学生。她们在紧张的学业之余坚持排练，以专业的态度与饱满的热情展现了年轻一代对传统艺术的热爱与坚守！
